Join us on August 4 - 7th, 2025 for an unforgettable experience led by 8 PWHL players, including professional athlete Clair DeGeorge, and the Strong Girls United team. This camp goes beyond hockey, offering a unique blend of:

  • Elite Hockey Development: Learn from the best with hands-on coaching from professional players.
  • Multi-Sport Exposure: Improve athleticism and have fun with activities designed to build well-rounded athletes.
  • Mental Skills Training: Build confidence, resilience, and a strong mindset on and off the ice.

Open to U8 through U16 players, this camp is the perfect opportunity to elevate your game, connect with role models, and grow as a player and a person.

About Clair

Clair DeGeorge is a professional ice hockey forward for the Montreal Victoire of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). A standout from her early days, Clair grew up playing boys' hockey in Alaska before moving to Minnesota to compete at the renowned Shattuck-Saint Mary’s, where she helped her team win four consecutive national championships. She went on to have a stellar collegiate career, playing at Bemidji State and Ohio State, where she led the Buckeyes to their first NCAA National Championship in 2022.

Clair has represented the United States internationally, earning a gold medal at the 2017 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship. In 2024, she added another milestone to her career by winning the inaugural Walter Cup with PWHL Minnesota. Off the ice, Clair combines her passion for sports and helping others—she’s been a Strong Girls United mentor and a nurse!

Player/Coaches 

Maggie Flaherty 

Maggie Flaherty is a professional women’s ice hockey player for the Minnesota Frost. In her first professional season (2023-24) Maggie played a key roll in PWHL Team Minnesota securing the first ever Walter Cup. A native of Lakeville, Minnesota, Maggie developed her passion for hockey playing for her hometown Lakeville High School and played collegiately for the Duluth Bulldogs. Internationally, she won Gold with Team USA at the 2016 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships. On the ice Maggie is a force to be reckoned with, she is undeterred to go in to battle. Her relentless work ethic and love for the game continue to inspire fans and teammates alike. 

Lee Stecklein

Lee Stecklein is a professional women’s hockey player for the Minnesota Frost. In the inaugural season of the Professional Women’s Hockey League Lee played a pivotal role in Team Minnesota winning the Walter Cup. She also was instrumental in advocating for a unified women’s league through the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). Lee hails from Roseville, Minnesota where she grew up playing girls high school hockey. She has represented the United States in three Winter Olympics (2014, 2018, and 2022), securing one gold and two silver medals. During her collegiate career at the University of Minnesota, Stecklein won three NCAA national championships. To top it off Lee has won six IHF World Women’s Championships with Team USA. Her coaches and teammates would describe her as a fearless leader and arguably the toughest female defenseman to play against in the world. 

Natalie Buchbinder

Natalie Buchbinder, a defenseman for the Minnesota Frost in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), is a standout player known for her defensive skills. In her first professional season Natalie played for PWHL Team Minnesota helping them secure the Walter Cup Championship. Her accolades started years before her professional career, born and raised in Rochester, New York, she is a three-time NCAA National Champion with the University of Wisconsin Badgers and spent her 2021-22 hockey season with The Women’s United Stated National Team in Residency leading up to the 2022 Winter Olympics.  Internationally, she earned a gold medal with Team USA at the 2017 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship and a silver at the 2021 IIHF Women’s World Championship. Among all her achievements Natalie has come back from many serious injuries, but her ability to come back stronger every time is a testament to her resiliency and passion for the game.

Madison Bizal

Madison Bizal, hailing from Elk River, Minnesota, is a distinguished ice hockey defenseman. She played five seasons at Ohio State University, contributing to the Buckeyes’ 2022 National Championship victory. During her collegiate career, Bizal earned multiple honors, including WCHA Scholar-Athlete and All-Academic Team recognitions.  In 2023, she signed a one-year contract with PWHL Montreal, marking the beginning of her professional career. This season she has moved overseas to play for SDE Hockey in the Swedish Women’s Hockey League. Among her accomplishments she also won gold with Team USA at the U18 Women’s Ice Hockey IIHF World Championships in 2018. Not only is Madison an extremely skilled defenseman, but her contagious energy off the ice brings her teammates together.
